Learn the government system and where to engage while promoting new Technology and Computer Informatics Center for the institution.
Results:
Listened to priorities and devised plan for engagement, including targeting on the federal and state levels of government, advocacy, education, relationship development and events
Organized meetings and events with the target list of legislators and built long-term relationships, reputation and trust
Created the message to demonstrate the need for collaboration with government in education and innovative technology
Explained the need for construction funds to meet student demand and benefit entire region of the state
Organized tours of facility with public officials
