Government Affairs Assistant

Xavier is a senior at Howard University (HU), where he is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Communications. He is a Fall 2023 initiate of the Howard University Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, serves as a Student Association Government Affairs and Policy staffer, and is a frequent volunteer with the University’s Alternative Spring Break. Before joining G2G, Xavier previously interned with the Office of the State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, Maryland as an Assistant State’s Attorney Intern for the Special Victims and Family Violence Unit. He’s also completed internships at the American Red Cross (Government Relations Intern), Troup County State Court Public Defender’s Office (Legal Intern), and TurnUp Activism (Leadership Development Intern). After graduation in Spring 2025, he plans to obtain a master’s degree in public policy. Xavier’s previous experience in policy, government, and law make him an asset to the G2G team.
