March 18, 2025
The 136th General Assembly was off to a fast start since Governor DeWine delivered his Executive budget proposal in the first week of February. The Governor’s budget emphasizes economic growth, with continued support of childcare programs, as well as a child tax credit to support working families.
January 28, 2025
Legislators from around the state returned to Columbus on January 6th to start the 136th General Assembly. G2G was at many Capitol Square events that day, connecting newly elected as well as returning members we’ve worked with over the years.
December 30, 2024
The 135th Ohio General Assembly wrapped up after a marathon session on December 19. HB315 served as the “Christmas tree” bill and was loaded with amendments.
