Are you looking for opportunities to showcase your medical innovations and capabilities to the military, and gain understanding of government funding priorities – but not sure where to start? Join us to learn about:
- How to maximize participation in the 2024 Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) conference to gain insights from DoD, VA and HHS leaders and build relationships with DoD researchers and program managers.
- Insights from a company that has effectively navigated the funding process through the DoD system of affiliates and consortia.
- Other tips for life science and biotech companies wanting to access non-dilutive government funding.
If you are unsure of how to work with DoD, MHSRS is an excellent starting point. As the year’s premier military medical research meeting, it draws upwards of 4,000 attendees and offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with DoD leaders, decision-makers, program managers, and researchers. DoD wants to hear from companies with research, innovations and technologies that address critical gaps in military medical care in the areas of: Combat Casualty Care, Military Operational Medicine, Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine, Information Sciences, Military Infectious Diseases, and Radiation Health Effects, among others. The conference features breakout sessions focusing on the priorities of various DoD entities including the Defense Health Agency, Futures Command, USAMRDC, WRAIR, USAISR, and many more.
MHSRS will be held August 26-29 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL. While the window for abstract submission has passed, there is significant benefit in attending even if you are not presenting on your work. This webinar will provide helpful guidance and preparation for navigating the Military Health System, even if you cannot attend MHSRS.
G2G has attended MHSRS every year it’s been held for over a decade and has guided and represented dozens of companies and nonprofit entities at this forum. This has helped these groups find champions at DoD, which in turn has helped facilitate fruitful collaborations, and funding opportunities.
